What Does It Cost?

You pay for the cost of the hanging carcass weight at time of harvest for the whole, half or quarter of the animal.  The prices per pound are:

Whole Beef- $2.15 per pound hanging weight
Half Beef- $2.25 per pound hanging weight
Split Half Beef- $2.45 per pound hanging weight

There is 50 cents per pound processing charge.  The processing charge includes cutting, wrapping and freezing of your order.  Also, there is a $200 deposit required on a whole beef and $100 deposit on a half or split half prior to processing.

The hanging carcass weight will yield approximately 45% to 60% cut and wrapped product.  The variation in yield depends on cutting instructions and time the carcass in aged in the cooler.  A completely boned product with out soup bones etc. will yield less than a product that includes most of the bones.

Freezer Space:

The beef is processed to your specifications so as to accommodate your needs and family size. A typical half order would take about 8 to 10 cubic feet of freezer space once it has been cut and wrapped.
